I really love Dr. Usui's story. I feel connected to the search for what feels right. I am inspired by his tenacity and perseverance. I also admire that he was humble enough to look within himself to find his own truth and then boldly live it in the world.
We are yet again at a crux of this timeless question "what is healing" and how do we heal ourselves and others. The methodologies and modalities have become so advanced we forgot that it's the "both and" as Annie Fuller would say. As we heard from Dr. Usui's story, spiritual health is as important as physical health. Thank you for all of those who have led by example so we may seek and find our own truths and boldly live them in the world.

Thank you for sharing this Shelby. Yes, when we can see the spiritual health on the same plane of importance as the mental, physical and emotional, we open up a whole other can of worms and potential capacity to heal from the inside out. <3

Dr Usui's story touched me. He had a divine mission here on earth and not knowing exactly what it was or the outcome he followed his inner guidance a step at a time and fulfilled that mission that now touches millions of people around the world.

What an amazing story of commitment and sacrifice for the highest good. I do resonate with the story. I understand it better now. The story is so important to know..especially (as Shelby and Deb described) the spiritual background.

I really enjoyed Dr. Usui's story, it was very inspiring. Diana did a great job! It makes me want to visit the mountain that Dr. Usui went to some day.

I also found Takata's story to be very inspirational because she was a healer and entrepreneur that brought Reiki to the West. I will include a link to her story in case anyone is interested :)

What amazes me about Dr. Usui is that he attuned himself to Reiki. I think all is about intention. Healing and energy work regardless of time and space. I love the angels and Reiki combo. It makes sense that Archangel Raphael and Archangel Haniel are part of the Angel Reiki method. I thought that any angel could work with Reiki ;-)

List - can you update the list to include that the color for Arch Angel Haniel is Tourquise? When I got done reading about Raphael, and it identified his color, and was hoping to find that for Haniel.

Hello Susan! Thank you so much for the suggestions. So, what I found with Haniel is she appeared in several different colors for folks-for some, pale pink, others like you turquoise/cobalt blue and even silver. We go into Haniel more in Week 3, so stay tuned for that!
